Installed on the façade of the building, the kinetic light installation Fremor by Marc Vilanova listens to what passes through the structure — from the wind striking the glass to the faint vibrations produced by infrastructures moving beneath its foundations. Using geophones, the installation registers these slow, persistent, low-frequency waves as they travel through the building and translates them into a sustained movement, almost respiratory in rhythm. A series of luminous tubes tremble according to real patterns of structural vibration, in a gesture that is minimal yet continuous.
